If Seek First determines that sensitive information is necessary for a particular engagement, appropriate methods for securely providing that information will be communicated separately.

We may use information to:

  • Process and manage purchases

  • Schedule and provide services

  • Prepare for cybersecurity consultations, assessments, or training

We seek to limit the information used to what is reasonably necessary for the applicable purpose.

Cybersecurity Consultation Information

Cybersecurity consultations and assessments may require clients to provide information about their online presence, accounts, business practices, security controls, security concerns, digital exposure, or other matters relevant to the requested service.

Seek First uses this information only as reasonably necessary to perform the requested service, evaluate relevant cybersecurity concerns, prepare applicable deliverables, and provide authorized follow-up.

Clients should provide only information relevant to the engagement and should not provide passwords, authentication codes, private keys, or other account credentials unless specifically requested through an approved secure process.

AI-Assisted Processing

Seek First may use artificial intelligence (“AI”) and AI-assisted tools for limited administrative and business purposes, including helping to organize, format, summarize, or improve the clarity of consultation notes and client deliverables.

Seek First takes steps to remove personally identifiable information (“PII”) and unnecessary sensitive information before consultation content is submitted to an AI-assisted tool.

AI-generated or AI-assisted content is not relied upon as a substitute for professional cybersecurity judgment. AI-assisted output used in client-facing cybersecurity recommendations or deliverables is subject to human review by Seek First.

Seek First does not intentionally submit passwords, authentication codes, Social Security numbers, financial account credentials, private encryption keys, or other unnecessary sensitive credentials to general-purpose AI tools.

Where third-party AI services are used, information processed by those providers may also be subject to their applicable terms, privacy practices, and security controls.

Payment Information

Payments may be processed through third-party payment providers.

Seek First does not intentionally collect or store full payment card numbers through consultation intake forms or other standard client forms.

Payment providers may collect and process payment information according to their own privacy policies, terms, and security practices.

Data Retention

Information collected specifically for a cybersecurity consultation may be retained during the engagement and for up to seven (7) days following delivery of the applicable Security Action Plan or final consultation deliverable to allow for client questions and authorized follow-up.

After the applicable follow-up period, consultation working information that is no longer reasonably necessary will be deleted or securely disposed of in accordance with Seek First's data-handling practices.

The seven-day consultation retention period does not necessarily apply to all records associated with a customer or engagement.

Certain information may be retained for longer periods when reasonably necessary for business operations or for accounting, contractual, security, insurance, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, or legal purposes. Such information may include invoices, transaction records, executed agreements, consent records, and records reasonably necessary to document the services provided.

  • Payment processing

  • Email and communications

  • Cloud storage and productivity services

  • Forms and client intake services

  • AI-assisted business tools

  • Other technology or professional services reasonably necessary to operate our business or provide requested services

We seek to limit information shared with service providers to information reasonably necessary for the applicable purpose.

Information may also be disclosed when required by applicable law, legal process, or governmental request, or when reasonably necessary to protect the rights, security, or property of Seek First, our clients, or others.

Third-Party Services

Our website and services may integrate with or rely upon third-party platforms for website hosting, scheduling, payments, forms, communications, cloud services, AI-assisted processing, and other business functions.

Information processed through third-party services may be subject to those providers' respective privacy policies, terms, data-retention practices, and security controls.

Seek First does not control the independent privacy practices of third-party providers.

Marketing Communications

Where applicable, you may choose to receive marketing communications, educational resources, cybersecurity updates, newsletters, or promotional information from Seek First.

However, no method of electronic transmission, processing, or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Accordingly, Seek First cannot guarantee absolute security.
