TERMS OF SERVICE
Last Updated: September 27, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to the website, purchases, bookings, services, training, digital products, and other offerings provided by Seek First Cybersecurity LLC (“Seek First,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By purchasing, booking, accessing, or using an applicable Seek First service or product, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms and any additional terms presented in connection with the applicable service.
Services
Seek First provides cybersecurity consulting, cybersecurity awareness training, educational resources, digital products, cybersecurity assessments, and related professional services.
The specific scope, deliverables, timing, limitations, and pricing of a service may be described on our website, during the booking or purchasing process, in a proposal or invoice, or in a separate written agreement.
Services outside an agreed scope may require an additional engagement or fee.
Cybersecurity Consultations
Unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase, consultations must be paid in full at the time of booking or purchase.
Consultation purchases are final and non-refundable except where otherwise required by applicable law or expressly agreed to by Seek First in writing.
Clients are responsible for providing accurate and reasonably complete information necessary for Seek First to perform the requested consultation.
Recommendations, findings, reports, and Security Action Plans are based on the information available to Seek First at the time of the engagement and the agreed scope of the service.
Cybersecurity consultations are intended to identify potential risks, improve cybersecurity awareness, and provide practical recommendations. They do not constitute a guarantee that all vulnerabilities, exposures, threats, or security issues will be identified.
Client Information and Sensitive Data
Clients should provide only information reasonably necessary for the requested service.
Unless Seek First specifically requests otherwise and provides an approved secure method, clients should not provide passwords, authentication or MFA codes, Social Security numbers, full payment card numbers, financial account credentials, private encryption keys, or other unnecessary sensitive credentials.
Clients are responsible for ensuring that they have appropriate authorization to provide Seek First with information, systems, accounts, records, or other materials belonging to or concerning another person or organization.
Seek First's collection and handling of personal information is further described in our Privacy Policy.
AI-Assisted Tools
Seek First may use artificial intelligence (“AI”) or AI-assisted tools for limited administrative and business purposes, including organizing, formatting, summarizing, or improving the clarity of consultation notes and client deliverables.
Seek First takes steps to remove personally identifiable information (“PII”) and unnecessary sensitive information before consultation content is submitted to an AI-assisted tool.
AI-assisted output is not treated as a substitute for professional cybersecurity judgment. Client-facing cybersecurity recommendations and deliverables incorporating AI-assisted content are subject to human review by Seek First.
Additional information regarding our handling of personal information and use of third-party services is available in our Privacy Policy.
Training Services
Cybersecurity training services may require a non-refundable deposit to reserve an agreed-upon training date.
The applicable deposit amount, remaining balance, payment deadlines, scope, scheduling requirements, cancellation or rescheduling terms, participant limits, and deliverables may be specified in a proposal, invoice, statement of work, service description, or separate written agreement.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, training materials are licensed for use by the purchasing client and authorized participants in connection with the applicable training engagement.
Recording, reproducing, distributing, reselling, publishing, or commercially exploiting Seek First training materials without written authorization is prohibited.
Digital Products
Digital products, including guides, workbooks, templates, checklists, educational materials, downloads, and similar resources, are provided for informational and educational purposes.
Unless otherwise stated or required by applicable law, digital product purchases are final and non-refundable once access or delivery has been provided.
Purchasing or accessing a digital product does not transfer ownership of the underlying intellectual property.
Digital products may not be reproduced, redistributed, resold, republished, sublicensed, shared publicly, or commercially exploited without prior written authorization from Seek First.
Free Resources and Educational Content
Seek First may provide complimentary webinars, workshops, guides, downloads, newsletters, checklists, social-media content, or other educational resources.
Free resources and educational content are provided for general informational and educational purposes and are not a substitute for a cybersecurity assessment or individualized professional advice.
Access to free content does not create a client relationship or obligate Seek First to provide individualized services.
Customer Responsibilities
Customers and clients agree to:
Provide accurate information relevant to the requested service.
Cooperate reasonably where information or access is necessary to perform an agreed service.
Use Seek First's services, materials, recommendations, and resources only for lawful and authorized purposes.
Obtain appropriate authorization before requesting cybersecurity work involving systems, accounts, networks, information, or assets they do not personally own.
Avoid providing unnecessary sensitive information or credentials.
Customers may not use Seek First's services, recommendations, reports, training materials, or resources to obtain unauthorized access to systems, accounts, networks, devices, or information belonging to another person or organization.
Implementation of Recommendations
Seek First may provide recommendations intended to improve a client's cybersecurity or privacy practices.
Unless implementation services are expressly included in the applicable scope of work, the client is responsible for deciding whether and how to implement recommendations.
Some recommendations may involve third-party software, configuration changes, account changes, or other actions that may affect the client's systems or operations. Clients are responsible for evaluating and appropriately implementing such changes.
Additional implementation assistance may be available through a separate engagement with Seek First.
No Guarantee of Security or Results
Cybersecurity risk cannot be completely eliminated.
Seek First does not guarantee that consultations, assessments, recommendations, training, tools, products, or implementation of recommendations will prevent every cyberattack, compromise, vulnerability, data breach, account takeover, fraud attempt, privacy incident, loss, or other cybersecurity event.
Cybersecurity threats, technologies, and vulnerabilities change over time. Findings and recommendations reflect the information and circumstances reasonably available within the scope and timeframe of the applicable engagement.
Third-Party Products and Services
Seek First may recommend, discuss, link to, or reference third-party software, platforms, products, or services.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, third-party providers are independent from Seek First.
Seek First does not control third parties' continued availability, functionality, security, pricing, terms, privacy practices, or performance.
Clients are responsible for reviewing and determining whether a third-party product or service is appropriate for their circumstances before adopting it.
Intellectual Property
Seek First's original training materials, methodologies, reports, templates, workbooks, guides, digital resources, written materials, graphics, branding, presentations, and other original content remain the intellectual property of Seek First Cybersecurity LLC, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Customers may use materials provided to them for their intended personal or internal business purposes, subject to any additional license terms accompanying the material.
Unless Seek First provides written permission, customers may not reproduce, modify for redistribution, sell, sublicense, publish, distribute, commercially exploit, or represent Seek First materials as their own.
Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of Seek First's intellectual property to a customer.
Privacy and Data Retention
Seek First handles personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy and applicable data-handling practices.
Certain consultation working information may be retained for a limited period following delivery of the applicable Security Action Plan or final deliverable to permit authorized follow-up and may subsequently be deleted when no longer reasonably necessary.
Certain records may be retained for longer periods for legitimate business, accounting, contractual, insurance, security, dispute-resolution, or legal purposes.
Please review our Privacy Policy for additional information regarding the collection, use, disclosure, retention, and protection of personal information.
Scheduling, Cancellations, and Rescheduling
Service-specific scheduling, cancellation, rescheduling, late-arrival, and no-show requirements may be provided during the booking process or in the applicable service description or agreement.
Customers are responsible for reviewing those requirements before completing a booking.
Where service-specific terms conflict with general provisions of these Terms, the applicable service-specific terms will govern that booking to the extent of the conflict.
Communications
By providing contact information in connection with a booking or purchase, customers authorize Seek First to send communications reasonably necessary to administer that transaction or service, including confirmations, reminders, service-related notices, deliverables, and follow-up communications.
Consent to receive transactional or service-related communications does not necessarily constitute consent to receive unrelated marketing communications.
Marketing communications are addressed separately in our Privacy Policy and applicable opt-in processes.
Separate Service Agreements
Certain Seek First services may require a separate client agreement, proposal, statement of work, authorization, or other written agreement.
If there is a conflict between these Terms and a separately executed written agreement governing a specific engagement, the separately executed agreement will control with respect to that engagement.
Changes to These Terms
Seek First may update these Terms periodically to reflect changes to our services, business practices, technology, or applicable requirements.
Unless otherwise provided in a separate written agreement, the Terms applicable to a purchase or booking will generally be the version presented or in effect at the time of that transaction.
The “Last Updated” date will indicate when these Terms were most recently revised.
